Murder is tragically too often an abuser's final act of control. Pleased to see that Govt recognise the need to address domestic homicides and are increasing the punishment for such heinous crimes. There is still much to be done, but certainly a step in the right direction.

There are clear safeguards in place in the family courts to protect the anonymity of children and families. Protecting the anonymity of the judiciary goes against open justice, a fundamental principle of the rule of law that helps build public trust and confidence.
