No Farmers, No Food You set the contracts with retailers by choice. The change started in the 70's. You did these contracts because it's easier than marketing to the consumer yourself. Now the retailer dictates. Your problem. Don't sell to them... ah but that's hard work marketing your own product.
No Farmers, No Food There will be no food shortage as retailers will simply import. Now cost of import compared to cost of hugely subsidised farming production costs... think you might be on a looser! They'll import and leave you on your backside. Consumers set the bar not farmers.
