Today, we observe the life of Civil Rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., who railed against racial injustice. King's widow, Coretta Scott King, continued his work, mobilizing the Poor People's Campaign (1968) and the federal holiday honoring King's life and legacy (1983).

On this day in 2020, Ahmaud Arbery was tragically shot and killed while jogging in Georgia — an innocent life taken by racial violence. Today, we honor his memory and stand with his family members, who still grieve this heartbreaking loss. Sending love and strength. 🕊️

BSU had the opportunity to explore the farm life today! Goat cuddling, horses, donkeys, and even emus made for a great experience!
