We thought so when initiating this trial from which results have just been published in Annals of Int Med
It turned out that the effects are very similar.

The more clinicians I talk to, the more they confirm that the belief that exercise 'wears down the knee cartilage' exists.
Well, it seems it DOES NOT harm knee cartilage.
Still a long way to go to debunk this myth!
