2/To be clear We would not consider Hopium and no research funding acceptable care for patients living with cancer, multiple sclerosis or MND/ALS, so why would we accept this for those suffering ME/CFS and Long Covid? We shouldn’t. And we won’t.

3/these outdated beliefs need to be buried w/the dinosaurs where they belong. Time for a paradigm shift in the way we view PAIS. Patients need proper hope in the form of funded biomedical research into PEM, drug therapy trials and multidisciplinary care It’s long overdue

Dan Wyke 🦠➡️🧠🔥 I wonder if by the time we get to this point, we're already so disillusioned that 'no help' was expected. What I can't forgive is that they offer no advice on how to stop the disease progressing. No warnings about over-doing it. No explanation of PEM. It's outright negligence.

I really hope this is true. Like many people with M.E., I would struggle to survive financially with the loss of PIP.

The latest pay disputes are highly triggering for those of us with #LongCovid. Trade Unions are shouting about NHS staff not being valued with low pay, but we are still getting messages weekly about members who cannot access support for IHR, dismissal or phased returns. 1/2
