two weeks later & still soaking in all the fabulous conversations we had at this panel. left especially struck with @carriehryan's final question: what do intensities of fun tell us about social arrangements of life? where & why else are we bored, disenfranchised, out-of-place?

was just serendipitously paired with a senior anthro prof on focusmate working on a book project. it was so nice -- we got to say things to each other at the end like "i had such a wonderful time just reading during this session" and "i am really enjoying my work today".
