I have friends on the ground in Ukraine and what they are telling me is this: many of the Russian soldiers appear to be very young (19-24) and inexperienced. Many have fled under fire and/or surrendered. 1/3

I am very proud of the way my adopted country has conducted its presidential elections so far. And while we still have the second round before us, the turnout for the first round was almost 75%, which speaks for the power of the Finnish democratic process.

There has been zero talk of "rigged" elections or "witch hunts", none of the candidates demonized each other, no violence nor insurrection. I am 100% confident of, it is that when all is said and done, there will be a peaceful transfer of power, no matter who wins.

I’m 100% sure the loser will not yell foul, and will accept the result. Bravo Finland! Oh, and one more thing you can be sure of: none of the candidates in this country will praise Putin. I only wish I could say all of this about the upcoming elections in the country of my birth.
