Zero harm is an illusion pursued in loads of industries- pretty much meaningless and very much an intellectual cul-de-sac - I wish healthcare wouldn’t always rehearse debates in Safety Science and elsewhere which have long since had their day

If a tenant is late with their rent they get threatening legal letters. Then the same tenant, that has unaddressed and longstanding issues with damp and mould, is forced to pay it, then their landlord uses their rent to pay a fine to Housing Ombudsman for not doing those repairs.

Scoop from Dezeen: it's just five years since the Stirling Prize-winning council homes at Goldsmith Street in Norwich were built, but already several are set to be sold off under the Right to Buy.

WE DID IT! Today the government changed the Homelessness Code of Guidance to include cots in temporary accommodation.

This is a significant win for our movement to make stays in temporary accommodation short, safe & healthy, and shows that people power works!
