‼️ GLASGOW BRANCH FACES CLOSURE We are devastated to learn that our #Glasgow branch of Food Train that has delivered lifeline shopping supplies to hundreds of older people across Glasgow for 10 years, faces closure after council officials recommended its funding be axed. 1/3

Today, I overheard one of our amazing Food Train volunteers on the phone to one of our older members. The volunteer had tried calling her several times over the last couple of days as he was concerned that she had not asked for any grocery shopping this week.

Thankful for the rain staying off long enough for our Croftfoot Walkers to explore the newly refurbished Sensory Garden in Kings Park today. What a lovely space looking much brighter thanks to Friends- Kings Park and Glasgow City Council 🌳🪻

Yesterday our Children's Hearings Scotland North Strathclyde Regional Team attended the Inverclyde Corporate Parenting Development Day, with an amazing session delivered by Who Cares? Scotland - with the added bonus of a beautiful view from the windows of Beacon Arts Centre 🌊 #KeepThePromise
