The world of rural health lost a legend today with the passing of Dr Phil Tideman Philip Tideman Phil conceived and led the transformative Integrated Cardiac Network which now means the outcomes for patients with a STEMI in rural SA are as good as for those living in the city. Vale

Incredibly sad news for the @sahealth family with the passing of Dr Phil Tideman AM. All doctors work to save lives, but by creating Integrated Cardiovascular Clinical Network SA Phil saved the lives of countless patients he never even met. A giant of regional and cardiac health, Phil will be missed by all. RIP

Thinking of Phil's family at this sad time. On behalf of all the cardiac nurses who have worked with Phil over many years, we will dearly miss him. He was a kind and caring man who worked so hard for his patients. Rest in peace, Phil, your work is done.
