For decades, HF specialists have felt that AF was smoke rather than the fire. 🔥AF in non-ischemic HFrEF should be arrhythmia-induced CM (AIC) until proven otherwise, or be recognized as arrhythmia-exacerbated CM (AEC). Sinus rhythm IS therapeutic and should be a part of GDMT.
