The public don’t understand that the olive oil price is skyrocketing because crops in Europe have been devastated by extreme drought because of climate change, and that it’s going to get much worse - or that David Attenborough warns the collapse of the food system is on the…

In 1994, I saw a postcard captioned 'Britain in 2030'. It was a cartoon of the police apprehending people living in vehicles, saying 'you're under arrest for not owning or renting property.'
It was funny.
Now it's happening.

Cars don’t have “freedom of movement”; they have always been limited by the rules we apply to the operation of the road network.

Humans, however, do have the right to life and family, both of which are violated by turning streets into giant bypasses.

Glad to clear that up.

Surprised a visitor in the polytunnel this evening! Just spent ages clearing up the precious broken plants it left! A miracle it didn't burst out of the sides with its razor sharp talons!😱It must have chased a robin in there through a very narrow gap then couldn't get out again!

I remember a time when charities simply didn’t need counter-disinformation expertise in their communications teams. It was a gentler time.

Given how limited the Tory legislation has turned out to be, we will need more than 100 days to get it right but Labour’s commitment to bringing the archaic and iniquitous leasehold system to an end and making commonhold the default remains unchanged and resolute.

Stuart Coster It is a matter of public record that Labour are committed to introducing further legislation to enact all the recommendations of the Law Commission on enfranchisement, right to manage and commonhold. See my speech from the second reading debate 👇🏻

Far from being a World Leader the UK is now right at the back for everything from Rights to Healthcare or Pensions.

Even worse we are actively being driven backwards, and instead of blaming the people in charge, too many people believe their lies and blame each other.

Don't.

Soaring service charges are placing an intolerable strain on leaseholders.

Greater transparency is part of the answer but we need a more fundamental conversation about how we better protect leaseholders, and particularly shared owners, from unreasonable charges.
