On Take Your Kid to Work Day, we opened the doors to our city’s heartbeat. Students, grouped by grade, explored the Fire, Health, and Public Works Departments, giving our future leaders a hands-on glimpse into the daily services that keep our city thriving.

Students had a blast at our Take Your Child to Work Day, visiting different City Depts. like the Kansas City Health Department and getting their Fountain Cards! 😎

Twice annually the Kansas City Fire Department undergoes Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting training in collaboration with the Aviation Department at both KC Downtown Airport and Kansas City International Airport airports.
