Today ZOiS - Zentrum für Osteuropa- u. int. Studien was labeled undesirable in Russia, criminalizing collaboration for Russians. As part of OutRush.io/eng, surveying Russian wartime emigrants, I find this unsettling and very scary. How can Russians study their country safely?

Trump never ceases to surprise. Now, all NSF grants — new and existing — have been suspended. Over 1,000 awards worth $739M already terminated. Our project hasn’t been canceled (yet), but it’s frozen for the second time. The uncertainty is paralyzing nature.com/articles/d4158…
