This is always a great reminder. Coming from one of the best that knows his stuff. Train hard but not to hard. Consistently and frequently. Save the joints and tendons so you can keep coming back with minimal injuries.

Agree. Mine started at 10 and 12. No push, no pressure. Kids are influenced by their peers and from watching the pros. They eventually asked me to train them and found joys of lifting. It’s much more fun and beneficial to simply let them know you are their for them either way.

A workout should leave you feeling refreshed, energized, and ready for life. A workout does not have to leave you feeling broken down, super sore, or leave you feeling defeated. Challenge yourself hard enough and ready to do it again the next day.

Adults don’t need snacks. Snacking is for kids. It’s ok to let yourself be hungry. Get your protein, fats, minerals, etc. Eat and don’t deprive yourself. Just stop snacking and watch what happens.
