Midlothian Hertitage’s Julian McCullough, the No. 2 high jumper in the nation, came this close to setting a regional record with a 7-foot, 1 1/2-inch jump. I’m sure he’ll take his 7-foot jump that won the boys’ high jump beforehand though.
