This is what SSSI chalk grassland looks like when you mindlessly put large numbers of sheep on it when it’s at it peak. No flowers, very few inverts. Damage to populations of some invertebrates. Including rare snails. Step away from summer sheep grazing on such important habitat!

Hey Ryanair, my parents who are in their 70s and 80s, had accidentally downloaded the return flight boarding card instead of the outgoing ones and you charged them £110 to print them at the airport. £110 for 2 pieces of paper which took 1 minute. Shame on you

Dog owners, many of whom care about the environment, may be blissfully unaware of the detrimental consequences of the flea treatments that they use for their pets, so please read this important paper as it explains them. There is a very good case for limiting their usage.

Since Grouse shooting involves regularly setting fire to the land, it seems unlikely that banning shooting will wreak havoc on biodiversity, or 'conservation efforts'.

In fact burning peaty upland soils releases stored carbon and damages the habitats of vulnerable species.

Good morning! We're heading for Saturday's Inglorious 12th. The start of the grouse shooting season - unsustainable recreational shooting based on subjugating nature through burning, draining and killing natural predators. So, driven grouse shooting may get a few mentions this…

Last week Shell made £3.9 BILLION in quarterly profits while Greece fought wildfires. Wildfires which scientists say are becoming more frequent and intense because of the climate crisis. A crisis which fossil fuel companies like Shell are driving.

Can you see the problem?

This is a lie. Sunak just signed a £1.5 billion deal.

Our government's interests are wealth, not life.

New oil and gas won't lower our energy bills, it will kill us.

I don’t have a TV but I’m dog-sitting and BBC Countryfile is on.

Gatekeepers have twice been identified as meadow browns, pale flax has been identified as fairy flax, and yellow rattle pictured when bird’s-foot trefoil was discussed.

I’m reminded why I don’t have a television.
