In season logic: Strength residual last about a month. Aerobic fitness lasts about a month. Speed residual last about a week. Every 10 days your team needs to hit at least one strength based out a week. Every week your team needs to do at least one max effort, speed session

This is literally a strength coach / personal trainer in a nutshell. We see it all the time with interns and coaches who might know their stuff, but can’t talk, relate or “pass the vibe check”. Being too introverted and not willing to come out of your shell is a big problem

Fun fact: Jenna has logged about 400 sessions with me over 4 years while playing lacrosse. That is 2x wk, almost every week for 4 years. She’s also a D1 lacrosse commit, meaning we have 4 more to go after her senior year. Stay consistent-stay prepared.

ISO split squats are a $$$ exercise for beginners. Simple progression is to hold :20 then slowly add time. Once we get to :60 with great form, we go back to :20 with weight. Great work by this 7th grader!
