The strikes, Wes, are a product of your complete failure to take stock and really understand what is going wrong in the NHS. Which may be deliberate or as a result of hubris.

I’m allowed to share an anonymised WhatsApp post. Nothing more to say, except I’m with you, resident doctor colleagues and other doctors working in the NHS. Enough is enough.

As a GP - I am not “freed up” to treat the urgent cases unless there is additional funding for a supplementary GP to deal with the (limitless) online consultation requests we are simultaneously receiving.

Beautifully narrated by Hannah Waddingham. and Sam Ryder singing during the bereaved family’s procession had me in tears. Highlighting the new Veterans’ LGBTQ+ Memorial located down the road from us National Memorial Arboretum is a reminder why we must still defend peace and rights hard won.

How many times do we have to keep shouting that the NHS does not have adequate daily capacity, let alone surge capacity.

Shouts outs for BBC Strictly ✨ from both HRH The Duchess of Edinburgh and HM The Queen. Amazing recognition for what has been a FAB-U-LOUS series! 💃🏼 🪩 🕺🏻

Have really enjoyed the First Season of Lynley on BBC One. Love the chemistry between Leo Suter as DI Tommy Lynley and Sofia Barclay as DS Barbara Havers - they share the same values in life despite coming from different worlds. Hope there’s another season commissioned🤞🏻

Kudos to Alex Forsyth for the polite and professional way she dealt with the disruption in this week’s Any Questions on BBC Radio 4 - a calm and levelheaded approach under no doubt difficult circumstances 👏🏻 BBC Politics #bbcaq

Sadly accurate portrayal of how society (and much of the medical profession) sees patients with chronic or “invisible” illnesses

Yesterday you may well have seen the headlines announcing that from April onwards, GPs will be “made” to offer patients same day appointments for 'urgent' health issues. The implication, which I cannot imagine Wes Streeting is unaware of, is that he is on the side of patients,

Amazing Night Theatre Royal Plymouth seeing Miss Saigon with Stephen - amazing cast, music, costume, choreography and set. The themes of the mistreatment of women for the sexual gratification of men in power and the consequences of conflict on children still sadly speak to our times.
