#OTD 100 yrs ago, the Law allowing #Women over the age of 30 to stand for States Assembly - Jersey's elected parliament was confirmed by an Order in Council + registered in the Royal Court. It followed a long battle for women's political rights. Ivy Forster became the first women elected as a Deputy in 1948.

Our #Conservation team are taking close-up shots of objects that will be in the new exhibition at #JerseyMuseum , due to open this summer. The high-quality images will show off the finer detail of pieces like this casting sprue from the Blanche Pierre hoard dating back to 1150 BC.
