There are no more slogans left. No more campaigns. No more conversations to be had. We were told and taught to turn the other cheek. Enough. We have to affect the money. That's all they care about. open.spotify.com/episode/0VskCM…

With Keir Starmer's recent #health speech, it seems Demos' #PreventativeState agenda may be picking up traction. But its not just about health - managing pressures across public services will require long term investment in building stronger communities localtrust.org.uk/news-and-stori…

The Welsh Labour Government has confirmed free school meals will be available to eligible children and young people this May half-term. 115,000 school learners benefit from this and an additional 4,000 FE students in sixth forms/colleges will also be able to access the scheme.

Wales was the first UK nation to provide free school meals during holidays. It is excellent we are continuing to support families when household budgets are under such pressures.

Today's Daily Mail is ramping up the anti-woke paranoia with some strikingly violent imagery. Is this really what @Sainsburys Lloyds & @LidlGB want to align themselves with?

Hard to truly quantify what one players arrival can do to a team, a club & a city, but in many ways his signing, for such a small fee, gave us belief this PL run would be different. A maestro who helped take Wolves to unimaginable highs. Thankyou Joao

A lot of suggestions that in replacing Lopetegui is that Fosun have appointed a ‘Yes Man’. Rather than that, I think this is the first step in giving Matt Hobbs the keys to the castle. He led the process from A-Z and it looks as if coaching staff employed by the club will follow.

10. Just last month organisations representing hundreds of thousands of health and care professionals wrote to the Prime Minister to warn that so many people are routinely going without the essentials it poses a serious risk to the UK’s health. jrf.org.uk/press/universa… 6/7

I’m so scared about Tuesday’s Welsh Government Draft Budget. 40% of homelessness and housing support services say they’re likely to hand back contracts if there’s no increase in the Housing Support Grant. Devastating for people who need help, disastrous for public services. ⬇️

There are exceptions but imo the standard of football punditry in England is desperately poor. This clip is a great example of how enlisting an expert can really lift the coverage and give knowledge to the viewer, rather than the usual "well they just wanted it more" bollocks.

The coal tips in our valleys are testament to how we were exploited: our miners, and our landscape. Westminster must pay towards clearing the tips, to do one thing right by the miners' children at last. Our valleys were shaped by the miners' spirit, and it will never be dimmed 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

It's hard to describe how upset I am by this news. Through courageous, science-based journalism, Michael Mosley has helped thousands of people get well and healthy. I'm one of them. He was a hero to me. He will be deeply missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
