We lost a giant. Tim McNulty was a brilliant journalist, an incredible Communications Director, a dear friend and colleague and the best dad and husband. We are all better because of his skill with the written word, love of music and sports, and his endless heart. Love you Tim

Have to wish a happy 108th Anniversary to my darling Alma Mater: Pittsburgh’s greatest school, America’s first million dollar school, & an architectural landmark - Schenley High School. Opened its doors to 1,700 students on October 2, 1916.

It was great to join fellow Carnegie Library PGH board members for a library branch tour last weekend, even if I was only able to make it to the Squirrel Hill branch. Enjoyed learning lots of new info about its inner workings and future plans. And always good to see James Hill!

Leaders at Pittsburgh Public Schools are alarmed at the amount of drivers not stopping for #school buses with their stop arms out. Since last May there have been more than 9,000 incidents like this. #KDKA
