"Henry 8th and last Earl of Thomond sold Bunratty Castle & Folk Park and 472 acres to Thomas Amory in 1712 for £225 and an annual rent of £120. Amory sold the Castle to Thomas Studdert who took up residence ca.1720." It's very exciting to be holding Thomas Amory's will dated 8 August 1726.

This fortnightly article in Limerick Leader / Limerick Live is one of the best additions to the local paper in years. Paul's indepth research for these articles brings to life a lot of the most interesting & forgotten People & Places from #Limerick City's history. #localnewspapers
