We must all do our part to conserve and protect 30% of the world’s ocean by starting with the waters within our own jurisdiction. This morning Our Ocean Greece, 4 countries - 🇧🇿🇵🇼🇲🇬🇲🇨 - joined the Ocean Conservation Pledge, a win for #30x30 & ocean conservation!

Thank you to The Bahamas 🇧🇸 for signing the #BBNJ treaty to safeguard the #HighSeas .

The high seas cover nearly 50% of our planet's surface—but only 1% of these waters are currently protected.

The #HighSeas Treaty can change that.

The Ocean is a vital resource, playing a major role in global climate cycles.

At UN Ocean Decade, infrastructure improvement, knowledge generation and knowledge system inclusion were identified as key for the future.
