Last month was very busy as I transitioned into my new #postdoc role! But now that I'm settling in, I'm excited to share some fantastic news: I received a dissertation award last week! 🥳Was such a big and happy surprise for me 💗 #LUTBiz

The first half a year in a Postdoc role was a bit hectic 😄 But here I am back with exciting news. At the recent IPSERA Conference in Rio, I won the best dissertation award 🥳

At IPSERA conference in Rio, I was jet-lagged. During my short speech for the EC election, I meant to say I was a junior faculty but said, "I am fresh, but not really, because I'm jet-lagged, so I'm not fresh." [Audience laughter] Now, IPSERA has a not-so-fresh new EC member!😂

In my research work I often make many notes, which I successfully lose in no time😅 After reading many reddit reviews and lots of thinking, I got myself an "upgrade" 🤓 All my notes and reviewed papers are now in one place thanks to ipad and Goodnotes 😌 #AcademicChatter

So this project, which started in 2021 is still going though review process 😅 Paper and analysis has been redone four times and we got the new revision yesterday. Much has changed and I grew a lot working on this study. Surprisingly, I no longer care if it ends up in reject

Gosh! The review process never fails to surprise me. My paper has been in the same status "Awaiting Guest Editor-in-Chief Decision" for two months now 🥲Sent an email requesting a status update months ago and just got a standard "be patient" response 💢🥹 #AcademicChatter
