A very #HappyThanksgiving from the IVLP at IIE DC team!
This year, 18 European IVLP participants explored current U.S. social, political, and economic issues by visiting several U.S. states including CCWA, Global Minnesota , Santa Fe New Mexico, Tulsa Oklahoma, and WorldOrlando. #ExchangeOurWorld Institute of International Education (IIE)
We joined our Global Ties U.S. colleagues for the 2025 National Meeting, attending sessions and sharing best practices on the theme "Stronger Communities, Stronger Alliances." IIE's, Fred Kitchen, won a Network Honor Award for her outstanding work over the years. Congrats, Fred!

#IVLP is making the world healthier through exchange! In June, Institute of International Education (IIE) & IVLP brought together health cooperation experts from around the world. Trip highlights included visits to the DEAWashington, Cleveland Clinic quantum computer, and a health workshop in Milwaukee
IIE was honored to join the National Security & Emerging Technologies Summit hosted by Utah Global Diplomacy. Thank you to Global Ties U.S. for opening conversation on how emerging tech impacts national security. IVLP is committed to strengthening our nation through international exchange!
Last month, 5 African professionals joined IVLP to explore hands-on strategies to combat illegal fishing. Their U.S. journey spanned D.C., Oregon (WorldOregon), Ohio (World Affairs Council), Rhode Island & Massachusetts (WorldBoston), building tools & partnerships for change.
Leaders from the Near East & North Africa joined IVLP "Young Leaders RISE" to explore initiatives for engaging youth to drive economic growth. While visiting World Affairs Council of Philadelphia, they met with non-profits, civic organizations, and volunteered with Cradles to Crayons Philadelphia!
