Congratulations to the 2023 Vanier Medal Winner, Dr. Catherine Cook! Dr. Cook is the first Indigenous recipient of the Vanier Medal. She has had a distinguished career of more than thirty-five years as a practicing physician and as a faculty member at the University of Manitoba.

Dr. Cook will accept the Vanier Medal at IPAC’s Annual Conference in Ottawa from September 13-15, 2023, where she will speak on the topic of Indigenous health outcomes...
