Em 14 de dezembro de 1955, a Irlanda aderiu às Nações Unidas. Durante 70 anos, o nosso compromisso com a ONU e a sua Carta definiu o lugar da Irlanda entre as nações da Terra. A ONU continua a ser a maior esperança da humanidade. Continuaremos a trabalhar para que assim seja.
