I like that when Ian Wright reflected on the Lionesses game tonight he referred to things they did in the game as decisions / tactics “we” made - such a small thing that shows his solidarity with the women’s team, which in turn shows boys that girls are as good as them #ENGvUSA

Due to the mad torrential rain tonight I put an old towel out ready for when I got home and would need to strip in the hall.. just realised how old it actually is - nearly as old as me! Sure Mark Shearman MBE will have some pics from this day?! Anyone else still got one of these?!

The 3rd of my sports history book purchases arrived today - Jogging for Fitness & Pleasure by Cliff Temple. Published 1977 by The Sunday Times. Temple was the newspaper's athletics correspondent.
