Thanks to all who performed at Hammersmith on Sunday in aid of @CharlieWtrust lotsa great rock musical treats. Hadn’t heard the marvellous @JudyKuhn1 sing a song from Chess for years which were rolled back when she sang Someone Else’s Story. And so many others on top form too.

Andrew Wright I must stress that this is by no means all amateur companies. I see many producing innovative and exciting work. But I also see many literally (and proudly) ‘lift’ the West End choreography - even if not appropriate to the standard of its players - and this is an issue for me.

The production of Chess in Concert from the Royal Albert Hall was recreated lock, stock and barrel from the DVD in Budapest... and their creatives took full credit... Of course... x
