Good morning everyone. I'm Jane Mumby - janemumby.bsky.social, a new postdoctoral researcher at the Centre, and I'm at the The History of Scientific Conferences today and tomorrow. I'm going to be tweeting along with some of the talks and events - it should be a great couple of days.

First up this morning at The History of Scientific Conferences we have Charlotte Bigg and Thomas Mougey on Communicating Science: Scientific Conferences as Spectacles and Medialized Experiences, with commentary from Louise Devoy of Royal Museums Greenwich.

After our first coffee break we have Geert Somsen and Georgiana Kotsou on Convention Conventions: Rituals of Participation in Large Research Conferences, with the commentary this time from Ben Maj.

Next up are Jessica Reinisch and Laura C Forster - with commentary by @davidbrydan - on Laboratories of Cooperation: International Organisations, Experts and Technical Conferences.
