I’ve been fighting for fair and just maps for Louisiana. Today, Louisiana will give Black people an opportunity to elect two members of Congress of their choice.

While, I celebrate this ruling today- the work still continues to ensure fair maps.

Listening to House debate on constitutional convention seems like every group (teachers, public employees, judges etc) wants an exemption from rewrite. Which to Mandie Landry’s point, this means there’s widespread concern about convention. Oh also, it may now take place in August.
