While the Dept. of Public Works' crews clean catch basins daily, today, extra maintenance crews are on the move, cleaning basins across the city in preparation for severe weather.

While the Dept. of Public Works' crews clean catch basins daily, today, maintenance crews are out cleaning catch basins across the city ahead of severe weather. 

On average, crews tackle approximately 400 catch basins, 200 drain manholes, and flush around 8,000 pipes per month.

Today, the Department of Public Works has deployed extra maintenance crews citywide to clean catch basins ahead of severe weather, diverting their attention from pothole repairs. 🌧️🌧️ #DPWCleans #onlyraindownthedrain
