may_talks_a_lot There’s many undiagnosed autistic people seeking ED treatment, so it always needs to be considered as a possibility.

Examples of Neurotypical Privilege

I do not have additional hurdles to manage in my  day-to-day life because of the way my brain is wired.
I am likely to perform well in classical education systems.
I do not have to disclose my neurodiversity status in workplace settings, etc.

There seems to have been quite a lot of anti-autistic and anti-neurodiversity stuff on here recently.

Look after yourselves out there. Differences of opinion are to be expected but they can be expressed without resorting to being ableist and hateful, it's ok not to engage.

Either way, I’m shocked & appalled.
Healing is ALWAYS an option.
We’re just programmed to not believe it’s possible. 🤫

Clinicians blocking second opinions from other clinicians who believe people with eating disorders can fully recover ... Completely appalling and shocking to see this
