It's an honour for us to offer a platform where they can collaborate effectively

In his remarks, UN Special Rapporteur Freedom of Association highlighted the primary objective of this consultation: contemplation of preserving our gains, notably ensuring the safeguarding of climate justice actors & social movements over the past 6 yrs & underscoring the imperative of addressing challenges ahead

The pivotal global consultation to advance the protection of freedom of assembly and association rights and safeguard hard-earned gains is in progress. It's a privilege to convene influential voices from social movements alongside UN Special Rapporteur Freedom of Association for this crucial exchange

In his opening remarks, Hassan Shire praised Clement's unwavering dedication to his mandate.
'I would like us all to acknowledge the 6 years of his
life that he has dedicated to this work, in essence
as a voluntary commitment,' he said.
