Today I met the sons of Quilombola HRDs Binho do Quilombo& Mãe Bernadete,both of whom were assassinated in the Pitanga dos Palmares quilombola community in Bahia. They are now leading the community’s struggle for justice. This photo was taken were Mãe Bernadete was killed #Brazil

At #HRC55 I welcomed #Pakistan 's support to human rights defenders in India-administered #JammuKashmir but had to remind Pakistan Mission Geneva of the violations being committed by police against HRDs & WHRDs in #Balochistan in the context of the protests against enforced disappearances.
