Last week some Yr 12 students took part in the Young Enterprise Company Programme Area Showcase. The event brought schools from across North Yorkshire to showcase their companies and pitch to a panel of judges for a place in the Company of the Year competition. Well done team!

Well done to our 1st XV Rugby team for their performance in the Yorkshire Cup. It wasn’t the result they wanted but a great game of rugby was played and for our Yr13’s it was their last game for HGS.

Congratulations to Dylan from Year 10 who signed off his junior Aikido career last week by becoming National Under 16's Champion at the British Judo Centre. He has started to train with the British National Squad, with a view to represent Great Britain in the future.

A huge well done to Yr 13 student Rafe on completing the London Marathon and raising £7k for Brain Tumour Research. He was just one of 200 eighteen year olds taking part out of 50,000 runners in total.
