Today our Yr 8's experienced authentic World War 1 British trenches at Sanctuary Wood and Hill 62, near Ypres. Students learned about how the trench system was developed and the challenges of life it had for soldiers.

We celebrated colleagues with the Trust Long Service award. CEO of the Trust Richard Sherriff gave Mrs Winters, Mr Weston, Mrs Weston, Mr Mungovin, Mrs Bennett & Mr Moore their certificates & words of appreciation for contributions to our school totalling 185 yrs between them!

Yr12 student Amelia competed in the International Street Dance Scholarships in the u18 category against the top 50 Street Dancers. Amelia’s dance teacher Chloe said 'I’m so proud of her & feel it’s achievements like this that compliment a student’s academic life'

Congratulations to Daisy Taylor in Year 9 who competed in the Summit World Cheerleading Championships out in Florida at the start of this month.

Daisy’s team finished fourth out of the 9 English teams and coming 40th overall.
