Disclosing Serious mental illness should be a choice. Hiding my mental illness means hiding where I met my husband,we met at the Cassel hospital. Stigma should not be a reason for me not sharing where & how I met my husband, hiding that is heartbreaking 💔.

It was many people who helped me out of the psychological trap I was in. In heathcare how do we come together to support someone? Rather then solely sitting in our separate professions, how do we learn together & support one another in our roles? Togetherness saved my life.

An Assistant Professor of Psychiatry said to me "Emotional neglect does not meet classic definitions of trauma" - I don't agree as I found emotional neglect traumatising. I would really value people's thoughts on this - Should emotional neglect be classed as a form of trauma?
