We hosted our first food forum with our 10 newly-elected Food Reps and the catering team. We got to discuss some of the issues, frustrations, ideas and improvements around food in a constructive environment. Our next step is to work with the prison to put these ideas into action.

Yesterday, to mark #HiddenHeroesDay our senior leadership team served up some motivational messages to thank our hardworking staff for their dedication and compassion in supporting prisoners to change their lives.

Did you know at HMP Woodhill we have 8 Samaritans Listeners? It's a peer-support scheme where prisoners volunteer & are trained by the Samaritans to support other prisoners with wellbeing when they most need it, while also gaining valuable life skills. #WorldMentalHealthDay

Prisoners at Woodhill are learning skills in consequential thinking, interpersonal relationships and problem solving by learning to play chess. These invaluable skills will be critical to their success when released. Thank you to 5asideCHESS for partnering with us.
