Pleased to be with President Barbara Plant and Vice President Malcolm Sage in Inverness yesterday, meeting GMB Scotland members at SGN. Concerned to hear about health & safety issues with contractors, but good to talk about hydrogen and home heating with workers in the gas industry.

Great to visit SGL Carbon in Muir of Ord where they produce high-tech carbon products used across manufacturing, including renewables. Highlights the complexity of our energy sector - carbon supporting the renewables industry, but dependent on oil and gas.

Met with workers employed by the contractor Robertson working for NHS Highland. GMB members successfully fought for Agenda for Change terms and conditions, but strike action is still on the table until the money is in pay packets. Solidarity. ✊
