Today we were excited to host a workshop for our members laying out what is set to change in the EU's #ConstructionProductsRegulation. The updated CPR legislation introduces sustainability requirements, promotes digitalization, and aims to solve deadlocks in standardisation.

Today the Energy EU Council meets to discuss European competitiveness in energy. 30% of #flatglass production costs come from energy. This needs to be tackled so that production of flat glass in 🇪🇺 can thrive to meet the demand for efficient products in ↘️emissions in buildings.

The restauration of #NotreDame de Paris has restored the Cathedral’s stained-glass windows to their former glory. #FlatGlass has been a part of architectural marvels for centuries, like the famous 13th century rosace at Notre Dame. We can’t wait to see it up close again!

Important to have a discussion with representatives of the glass industry. This is a very important sector, which is facing challenges due to overcapacity and unfair competition. We discussed the Clean Industrial Deal and the opportunities stemming from it.
