I spoke today to Minister Schuster from Samoa🇼🇸 on the key issues ahead of COP29: delivering a new collective quantified goal, following up on the UAE consensus and engaging on carbon markets.

The 🇪🇺 is ready to support the most vulnerable countries to fight climate change.

Good to meet 🇦🇿 minister and COP29 AZ President Mukhtar Babayev, together with 🇧🇪 minister Zakia Khattabi in Denmark.

Close engagement with the Gulf countries is key for accelerating the energy transition, increasing mitigation adaptation and building climate resilience.

Excellent exchange with 🇩🇰 Minister Dan Jørgensen ahead of the Copenhagen Ministerial next week.

We’ve worked together excellently in Dubai, and I’m looking forward to the same 🇪🇺team spirit at COP29.
