being a carer our health suffers when i was in hospital yrs ago undergoing tests for a heart attack, they wanted to keep me in I said sorry I have to be at home caring & being in would cause me to worry more so home I went. The caring duty never ends

When employed, if ill, you go home/call in sick. Unpaid carers can’t do that. Where’s the compassion, the understanding? When you’re poorly Rishi Sunak do you not take a sick day? Not talking about a runny nose but a full on vomiting diarrhoea bug, a crippling migraine or flu
