We are in a cost-of-living crisis. Government looking to slash disabled people’s income by hitting personal independence payment (PIP) is a horrific proposal.

It's dangerous and risks leaving disabled people destitute.

‘Humiliated’: carer made to pay back £3.8k after mistake declaring income.

Why? Calculating income monthly rather than weekly.

This has to stop.

Some bleak Office for National Statistics (ONS) stats on unpaid care. Carers have it worse from a health perspective than non-carers, and the more hours of unpaid care you provide, the worse your health is likely to be compared to non-carers.
