IMO scientific meeting this morning reviewed the risk assessment: Lava could flow quickly to the south. The risk in area 4 ( #Grindavík ) has been increased to high due to lava flow, as the lava tongue has been slowly growing in recent days.

Landrise still measures up to #Svartsengi but has slowed down. Model calculations indicates that pressure is increasing in the magma chamber. Total lava volume under Svartsengi is estimated at ca 10 million cbm.

This connection between #Sundhnuka and #Fagradallsfjall was a surprise to me.
