We have activated free parking attendants to help our passengers navigate the parking lots. If you need assistance while parking, look for one of our parking attendants and they will help guide you to an open parking spot, and give you a ride to the terminal!

What is behind Curtain (gate) Number 1? An incredible renovation to expand the gate! Remember what Gate 1 used to look like? (see video from April of 2024) We’ve added a floating floor to create an expanded gate and now we’re working on installing carpet and column wraps!

Skygrill, located in the Shreveport Downtown Airport, has been serving up breakfast and lunch for the past 3 years! They serve breakfast from 8 AM to 11 AM, and lunch from 11 to 2 PM, Monday-Friday, and it’s open to the public. No ticket required!

Winter Weather Advisory Update - 11:15 am, Jan. 24 All flights out of and into the airport have been canceled for Saturday, January 24, as well as several flights on Sunday, January 25. Always check with your airline for the most up-to-date flight information.

Crews continue to work around the clock to ensure that the runways, taxiways, and aircraft aprons are safe to use. Based on current conditions, the airfield should reopen sometime tomorrow afternoon, with the opportunity for airlines to resume flights after that.

Airport crews are continuing to work on removing layers of ice from aircraft operation areas to ensure each area can be used safely. We anticipate these areas being cleared and safe to use later this evening and don’t have any additional timeline information available.

Conditions at the airport are improving which is helping our efforts to remove all of the ice that has accumulated in the operational areas of the airport. We anticipate still being able to open the airport later this afternoon. We will update once the airport is open
