We had the very BEST day welcoming our Patron of Reading, Sophy Henn back to school to catch up on all her news! She left us with the most amazing gift and reminder every day as we arrive in school. Sophy, you really are the best! 🧡💛🧡

I am so proud to be #patronofreading for a school as special as Fishbourne CE Primary 🌈. I love having a continued relationship with the pupils and staff, and I left yesterday feeling so inspired, with a heart fit to burst. If any of you are considering becoming a patron, DO IT!

Mrs Whitaker is our wonderful Library Champion! She puts together beautiful collections of books from our library to tempt our little fish to try something new and gives sneaky tasters of the treasures within!

Such sad news. Raymond Briggs was an incredible visual storyteller, with such a unique and often fearlessly challenging perspective. What incredible gifts he leaves us and he will undoubtedly be part of all our Christmases forevermore…RIP.

Did you know it’s world values day? This is something we are so passionate about as a school community and we talk about all the time. Already this term we have so many examples… big ones, little ones… it’s a mindset that our children have!

On World Book Day UK 📚 this year, I was told of a young boy who dressed as Ben from #TheStarOutsideMyWindow. This week, on tour Fishbourne CE Primary 🌈, I got to meet him... Our kids are deeply amazing. I will forever be blown away by the depth of their hearts. #EndViolenceAgainstWomen
