“Can I bring my baby to the interview?” The message came in at 11 PM: “Hi, I have an interview with you tomorrow at 2 PM. My childcare fell through. Can I bring my 8-month-old? I understand if you need to reschedule.” Old me would have rescheduled. Unprofessional. Distraction.

It was so lovely to have Frankie as a run buddy today! He did 10km… walking the uphill but running the flats and downs! Amazing! 🦸‍♂️

A well earned Friday evening all to myself… a glass of wine, a roaring fire, a hound and a film that will make me cry my heart out 😭

Half term! Yet again beasted to the point I’m running on empty. Time for a change of pace before next half term which is the busiest one of all for us!

Now we have residency at the swimming pool three nights a week, time for some reading research. I love Sarah Crossan’s writing. She’s so varied in her genre and always hits hard!

Because of the exorbitant cost of visiting the groomers, we have invested in a pair of clippers! Barney has endured two grooming experiences from the luxury of our own kitchen table and, although still recovering, it’s safe to say it’s a game changer!

16km this morning ahead of the LLHM in April. A gorgeous run this morning from our doorstep enjoying all this! ☀️💛☀️💛 Slow and steady… trying to get to the start line!

I smiled going into Flo’s room this morning at her turned down, invitational duvet! It’s something my mum always did when making the bed and I grew up with! It would make her smile to see her granddaughter do the same! Joy and sadness so deeply linked. 💗
