opened this morning aiming to shine a light on harnessing the potential of #innovativefinancing towards sustainable and resilient #agrifoodsystems in Africa.

FAO's Chimimba David Phiri moderated the experience sharing roundtable of the Dialogue on Carbon Markets, a pre event of the #ARFSD2024 .

#UN Resident coordinators in Africa agreed on the need for further discussions on #CarbonMarkets to spur development & decarbonization in Africa.

The Food Systems Transformation Progress Review (National Convenors) Meeting at #UNECA , on margins of #ARFSD -10, underscored facts that Africa is not on track to achieve #SDGs & #FoodSystems is one of the entry points to realise the SDGs in #Africa .
